Losing a job in this adversity isn’t fun but telling people that I got laid off isn’t as hard as I think. I first shared the news with Dad after work. I gave him ins and outs. After our lengthy conversation over the phone, he sympathised and encouraged me to stay motivated.  “You must share the news with Mum,” he suggested.  “Nah, I will text her.” I have my reasons.  “Chick chick chicken” he teased me.  I ignored him and texted her - Mum I have got bad news for you. I got laid off today. There were many and I unfortunately happened to be one of them.  She didn’t see
