This is me every time I go visit tea shops in Yangon - no I won't make kissing sound to have waiter's attention cos it is rude and disrespectful towards them I will therefore raise my hand and wave at them or try to make an eye contact instead.
This is also me when I am about to order or pay - god damn it why so fucking difficult to have their attention. I have been waving at them like an idiot for ages and still being ignored.
Lesson from the story?
well believe me the saying like "when in rome do as the romans do" does exist for the good reason.
